This year's theme: Surviving and Thriving
The 28th Annual Brain Injury Conference was a great success with 18 thoughtful presentations. Brain injury survivors, family members, caregivers, and professionals from VT and neighbouring NY and NH came for a day of socializing, education, and support. Thanks to Hannah Deane Wood for an inspiring keynote address and to the many presenters who shared their expertise. Thank you to the sponsors and exhibitors who made the day possible. The Governor’s Awards were given to: Lisa Bernardin, Survivor of the Year; Gary Wade, Professional of the Year; Chelsy Thompson, Caregiver of the year and Fairbank Scales, Employer of the Year. The presentations from some of the sessions are on the right hand column.
